Texas Education Freedom Accounts Program

The Texas Legislature has passed a bill that created a universal education savings account program for all Texas families!

Here are a few key provisions of the program:

  • All families in Texas can apply
  • Priority will be for special education students and low-income families
  • A typical student would receive about $10,000, a special education student could receive more based on their needs
  • Funds could be spent on a variety of educational expenses, including tuition at a private school, tutoring services, therapies, and more…
