Families Empowered is a non-profit organization that offers free service to families in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Tarrant County. We help families understand and navigate Texas school choice and all of the educational options available to them.

Our vision is that all families will have access to schools that work for them. Texas offers many different kinds of schools. Our goal is to show you all of your options so that you can make an educated decision about which school is right for your family.

We don’t believe one school option is better than another. We know that every student is unique and we want to help you find the school that works for them. We hope that one day all families will feel empowered and confident when selecting a school for their child.
